How to use
Right after brushing
Tongue cleaning is easy once you’ve tried it. For the best result, clean your tongue twice a day, morning and evening, right after brushing your teeth.

OraSweet
How to use the OraSweet tongue cleaner
Six simple steps for your daily oral hygiene routine, morning and evening, right after brushing.
Important
Use gentle pressure, it should never hurt. Tongue cleaning is a supplement and does not replace brushing or cleaning between your teeth. Regular dental check-ups are always recommended, and young children should only use a tongue cleaner under adult supervision. Replace your tongue cleaner after 2–3 months of use.
Good advice
Gentle is best
- Light pressure. The tongue is sensitive. The tongue cleaner should glide, not dig. It must never hurt or cause scratches.
- Gag reflex? Start a little further forward and stick your tongue well out. Breathe out slowly as you go. Most people get used to it quickly and can gradually reach further back.
- The whole width. Take one stroke in the middle and one on each side if your tongue is wide.
- Make it a habit. Keep the tongue cleaner next to your toothbrush, and the third step will come naturally.
Hygiene and care
Clean tool, clean mouth
- Rinse after use. Rinse thoroughly under running water. Now and then, wash it with a little soap and warm water.
- Let it dry. Store it upright where air can reach it, for example in your toothbrush cup, so it dries between uses.
- Don’t share it. For hygiene reasons, don’t share your tongue cleaner with others. That’s what the six colours are for.
- Replace after 2–3 months. That way the cleaning edge always works at its best.
